Mark 4 14-20 The sower soweth the word. 15And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. 18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
In Israel when they sow they would never sow 2 different seeds in the same land, there will always be agreement, they will never plough with an oxen and an ass for the mentality of a donkey is different to that of a cattle. A lack of agreement when people sow causes failure to the crop.
When you sow there are enemies to what you sow, the Bible identifies things that will come when you begin to sow to kill or hinder that which you are sowing and cause you not to reap that which you are supposed to reap.
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Hagai 2:17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.–.
When we sow the devil comes immediately Mark 4:15, the enemy is like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour.
Isaiah 28:25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place? The careful farmer would plant the seed, the careless farmer would scatter the seed, when the seeds are scattered birds would pass by and take the seed. When you sow dig deep, plant deep so the enemy cannot snatch your seed. You have to sow the right thing at the right time in the right place.
Sowing begins with the seeds of words which we sow every day. James 3:8-10 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. 10Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
There is life and death in the power of the tongue. The words which we sow can bring blessings or curses, some of the words we have sown in the past is what we are reaping today.
Words lead us to sow deeds, if you sow a certain deed into a person and it becomes negative when you begin to reap that seed you only have yourself to blame. You have to first work on you, to be changed your mindset has to be changed.
Proverbs 26:13-14 The slothful man saith, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.14 As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.15 The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth– seed of laziness, the Bible says work while it is yet day, lazy people sow the seed of laziness to those around them, you cannot be lazy and expect the rewards.
Be careful you may give a glass of water and it may be an angel you are giving it to – by deed we sow and reap.
Seeds of malice, gossip, point fingers of accusation without evidence we plant to seed of discord which results in quarrels, calamity and division. Proverbs 6 13-15 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy
A perverse or fraudulent man sows strife, the seed of a tail bearer divides friendship Proverbs 16 16-28. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.26 He that laboureth laboureth for himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.27 An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.28 A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.
Not every church is a church not every word is a word from God beware of the fraudulent man. He that soweth iniquity (perverseness and unrighteousness) shall reap trouble and affliction.
When the word is preached a seed is sown, the sower soweth the word – David says Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee Psalm 119:11
The seed you sow today is that which you will reap tomorrow, Jesus is the Lord of the harvest when you sow make Him Lord over your seed.
