TITLE: WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT
God is excellent. Enjoy the grace of God. Give God praise all the time. We are all God’s creation.
Psalm 10: 1 – Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? Why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
Things are going well and all of a sudden problems begin to develop. You become hopeless, you lose your joy. This is a common experience, “when the lights go out”. When it happens we get upset “where is God?” It is a test to see how strong your foundation is.
Psalm13:1 – How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord? Forever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
We all share those experiences; things seem too much, you feel broken, forsaken from God. But everything is only for a time. You lose perspective. But there is more for you than against you.
Do not look at troubles with a magnifying glass, but remember God’s promises, “I am with you ALWAYS”.
Don’t lose focus.
Give God time.
This can be a time of revelation.
The Lord said “I will meet you on the other side”.
Jesus reveals himself to us in our time of misery.
Declare victory in Jesus Christ.
Speak the Word, God’s word.
