Prophecy comes by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The book of Isaiah speaks about the Messiah. Isaiah 53:5 – 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Prophecy in the Bible was not personalized. Judgment is personalized. When one has the gift of prophecy, one has to do it to edify, exalt and comfort. God is to be given the glory. You must be careful how you deal with the things of the Lord. For instance, 1 Corinthians 11:28-28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
We are living prophetically in the world, leading to the Anti-Christ, according to Revelation.
Talking in tongues is inspiration from God.
Isaiah 28:11 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people.
Mark 16:17 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:2 –2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
